Football Betting

From high street bookmakers to online betting exchanges, football betting has become big business. Making a small bet on your team each week has become very normal now that the barriers have been lifted and you can bet from your own armchair while watching the match.

It is not just fans that are getting involved either; sponsorship of top-flight teams by bookmakers is becoming more and more commonplace. There are seven teams in the premiership alone which wear the badge of bookmakers on their kit.

So, is this a bad thing? Well no not for those looking to profit from football betting. You see, for us, the more money flooding into the markets, the better chance we have of getting the best odds available (at least at some point in the run up to the match) and finding value football odds is very important to long term betting profits.

So, if you are new to this then where should you start? Well this site is a great place. Though we don’t offer betting tips as such we do research each game and provide you with our free predictions (sign up to the email list to stay updated). There are also free tips sites such as Football Advisers and community tips sites such as Equiwager. If you would rather do the research yourself and come to your own decisions though, almost every sports reporting site offers stats of some kind these days.

We wouldn’t directly recommend any betting systems and think that you should take the best of what is available for free and then start building your own betting system with the support of these services.

One thing is for sure though; football betting is a fun addition to the usual enjoyment of the game. Whether just for fun, or something a little more serious. Take your time to build up your betting bank, don’t make silly bets and don’t bet with money you don’t have.
